Copyset turns workout videos, links, screenshots and typed requests into workouts you can train. This page explains what the app collects, why, and what you can do about it. Questions? Contact us.
What we collect
- An anonymous account. The app creates a random identifier on first launch. We don’t ask for your name, email address or phone number.
- What you send to be turned into a workout. Videos and images you share or pick, links to posts and pages, and workouts you describe in text.
- What the app makes for you. The workout (moves, sets, reps, rest, cues), a cover frame and short muted clips of each move cut from the video you sent, and for links the creator’s name, handle and the link itself.
- Your training. The sessions you log (sets, reps, weights, times, how it felt), favorites, renames, your weekly goal and weight units, and the answers you gave during onboarding (your goal, where you train, where you find workouts).
- Questions you ask the coach about a workout, and the answers.
- Purchase status. Whether you have Copyset Pro. Payments are handled by Apple; we never see your card details.
- Basic server logs. IP address and request times, used for security and rate limiting.
How we use it
Only to provide the service: turning what you send into workouts, coaching you through them, showing your progress, answering your questions, and unlocking what you paid for. We don’t sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps and websites. Copyset gives general fitness guidance, not medical advice.
How long we keep it
- Uploaded and downloaded source videos are deleted from our servers about 24 hours after they are processed. The short move clips and cover frame stay with the workout.
- Your workouts, sessions and questions stay until you delete them.
- You can ask us to erase everything tied to your account at any time: contact us.
Who helps us run Copyset
- Google (Gemini API), which reads the video, image, page or text you send and writes the workout and the coach’s answers. It receives that content, not your identity.
- Apify, which retrieves a public post when you share a link. It receives the link.
- A hosting provider that runs our servers and stores your workouts.
- RevenueCat, which tells the app whether your subscription is active. It receives your anonymous identifier and purchase status.
- Apple, which processes purchases and delivers notifications.
Camera, photos and notifications
The camera and photo library are used only when you choose to photograph or pick something to turn into a workout. Reminders (today’s workout, rest timers, the day before a free trial ends) are scheduled on your device and only if you allow notifications.
Children
Copyset is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, or to object to how it is used. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and note the change in the app.
